Final Solution
Introducing the problem and goal
Problem: Anxiety affects 40 million Americans. In more specification, Time Anxiety is the feeling of time fleeting away, and this is particular comes from feeling unproductive, unorganized, and procastination. A pure focus on productivity can—ironically—prove counterproductive.

Goal: Fortunately, there is an alternative approach: mindful productivity. With this in mind, I wanted to centralize and streamline the resources into an app that people can use.

Mindful Productivity principles:
-
Presence
-
Awareness
-
Single Task
-
Motivation
-
Breaks
-
Reflection
-
Environment
-
Growth
Defining the problem
Interviews: To get a better insight on how other people are handling this situation. Confucted 12 face to face interviews.

User Persona: Condensed all the various users into a single persona, to ensure that the solution caters to all the problems they are encountering.

Considerations:
-
How can we best optimize and centralize user desired resources?
-
How can we encourage mindful productivity and growth?
-
How can we further motivate the user to work harder without increasing anxiety & stress?
Developing the solution
Competitor Analysis: To further understand the currently existing solutions and why they don't solve the problem. Conducting a SWOT analysis helped breakdown the products in a digestible way.

Feature Prioritization: Based on the findings so far, and further research into the top 15 products in this category, I listed out 10 of the most popular features and functions.
I then sent out a survey to the targeted audience and asked them to rate them based on their importance. I did this because I wanted to ensure that I could include everything the users were seeking.

Delivering the solution
Wireframes: Done on Balsamiq. Went through a round of critique and iteration befroe delivering the final prototype.

Branding:
-
Green invokes feelings of peace, growth, and inner strength.
-
Poppins font family is clear, crisp, and easy to read across different weights and colors

Testing the solution
User Testing: For the next 2 weeks, I had 6 users go through the product, as a form of moderated Guerilla Testing, and each of them gave me feedback on what was working, and what could be improved
Success Criteria:
-
Can users login/sign up?
-
Can users add a task?
-
Can users complete a focused session?
-
Can users complete a breathing session?
-
Can users reflect in the mood journal
-
Can users view their productivity insights?
Questions to ask:
-
Do users find the interface appealing enough to return to the app?
-
Is there a way for users to get to and from every screen?
-
Will users get confused while navigating through the app?

Positive results and much more to do
What I learned

Fail fast and keep iterating
-
Remember your 'Why'

Feedback is crucial to growing
What I would do differently

-
Create an onboarding experience

Offer more information about the breathing sessions, Pomodoro Timer, concepts of Mindful breathing etc.
-
Add the mood diary on the home page
-
More accessibility options (greater color choice, text-speech etc.)
